Job Description
HRBP – France & Spain / Northern Europe


About the role

This role reports into our Group HRD and is based in the Planet Paris office.  You will be part of a global HR team. This role will be expected to deliver a first class HR service to France and Spain region, which additional responsibilities to other Northern European countries from time to time, where we have a small presence.


What you will do

Operate within the parameters of the wider Group people plan to deliver the requirements of the function and delivery of the local people strategy
Be responsible for building and maintaining strong working relationship
Provide support and become a trusted advisor and challenge to internal clients and senior management
Build and utilise a deep understanding of the local client group (what they do, the commercial levers, their strategic priorities, pipelines of potential work etc.) to deliver the best HR service possible;
Assist in the delivery of HR projects and change initiatives to support the people strategy
Analyse management information to identify local themes and trends and suggest HR interventions to address these and act accordingly
Champion the business culture, values and D&I agenda in all activities
Manage the consistent delivery of the performance management, salary, bonus and talent management reviews locally
Work with Group HR colleagues to ensure HR Operations, Learning & Development and Talent Acquisition policy is implemented consistently and effectively
Resolve and advise on complex and/or high risk people issues to deliver commercial and pragmatic outcomes
Provide coaching support to business leaders in effective and successful people management
Provide HR support in company-wide restructuring / acquisitions / ER initiatives
Management of one initial resource
What you will need

A deep and broad HR & employment law knowledge and expertise in Europe, specifically in France and Spain
Demonstrable commercial acumen and understanding of the business
Ability to manage unions and formal workers meetings
To be able to work autonomously with minimal oversight
Deliver to agreed plans
Solid client relationship and influencing skills to establish credibility
Strong collaboration skills and an understanding of how to operate in a complex matrixed organisation
Who you are

A fluent French and English speaker with additonal language skills in Spanish an advantage.
