We are looking for a Technical Project Manager – ID Documents who is able to collaborate cross-functionally with the local operation and Program Manager teams. You will be working to support the industrialization phases of the customer projects of our Citizen identification business area.

As our Technical Project Manager, you’ll support HID’s success by: 

  • Being part of the Customer Program Core teams, you technically support the supply chain, product innovation, QA , Program Manager and local operation teams by :
  • Establishing the technical specifications associated to those kind of products
    Manage the projects tasks, planning, related the ID document technical topics in coordination with other departments
  • Act as technical support (remote or on site) for all quality/technical issues that could happen during the program at Internal or External manufacturing sites
  • Organize and support the know how transfer to our CID ID document manufacturer or qualified contract manufacturer
  • Support Product quality issues (internal/external)
  • Support the management of prototypes/sample requests at HID Sites and qualified contract manufacturer

Supporting the Pre-Sales/Bid team during Discovery/Tender submission process by providing:

  • Estimated Manufacturing cost,
  • Management of Customer/tenders submission samples
  • Define and re-align product design when necessary
  • Provide technical support/training when required.

Supervising and Coordinating the mfg. Process development and improvement during industrialization phases of new Product platform with HID Operation & innovation teams by :

  • Discovering, promoting External partners when necessary
  • Establishing the technical specifications, budget, planning, feasibility study, proof of concept

Qualification of product and process:

  • Performing the Risks’ assessment: IP, technical risks, planning constraint.

Your Experience and Education include:         

  • Bachelor’s degree of science in materials/ electronic/ electro technical engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of 5 years engineering management experience, including a significant exposure to ID Document and equivalent products.
  • Preferred experience with implementation and use of industrial, lean and continuous improvement tools and philosophies.
  • Candidate should possess a basic knowledge of electronics manufacturing/assembly processes and/ or Material (Plastics, Paper, IC) components manufacturing

Computer Skills    

  • Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Familiar with operating systems, such as Windows, etc.
  • Advanced proficiency in use of MS applications such as Visio, Project. High degree of PC technical skills.
  • Knowledge of WebEx or other web-based video communications software beneficial.
  • CAD software such as AutoCad is a plus
  • Oracle and Agile proficiency is a plus
