HID Global is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to join and lead a global program team supporting a government customer in a highly complex Identity Solutions and information technology environment.

 

You will have the opportunity to lead overall performance of the program and plan, coordinate, and manage the actions taken to initiate and execute the contract. You will manage a core team of technical leads and an overall team of Solutions architects, Software developers, UI/UX Developers, programmers, Database Admins, Business Analysts.

 

We are looking for a team-oriented leader who has the interpersonal communication skills necessary to inspire, lead, direct and manage a large Identity Solutions and IT integration program and has a technology background and acumen and can efficiently interface with senior client executives.

As our Senior Technical Program Manager, you’ll support HID’s success by: 

  • Managing a global team that is involved in the design and development of enterprise-wide IT systems
  • Being responsible for all financial, technical, administrative, contractual, and personnel aspects of the contract
  • Having responsibility for day-to-day management as well as long-term strategic development
  • Working on direct program activities such as meeting client and organization work objectives and serving as a liaison with the client stakeholders to coordinate activities, negotiate tasks, solve problems, and drive customer success.
  • Reporting to the customer and HID management on the status of all financial, technical, administrative, contractual, and personnel aspects of the contract
  • Expertly managing cross-functional global teams responsible for delivering high-quality program capabilities on time and within budget, including Subcontractors and vendors
  • Ensuring that all work on this contract complies with the contract terms and conditions
  • Identifying, assessing, and resolving complex business problems/issue/risks
  • Ensuring innovation and efficiencies are an ongoing process
  • Coordinating with HID resources needed for effective program management, including HR support, Talent
  • Acquisition, contracts administration, security, and finance support.
  • Leading the planning for Contractor resources, scheduling, milestones, and deliverables
  • Serving as main point of contact for the client Leadership and contract management officers
  • Responsible for profitability and revenue growth of assigned programs.
  • Leading, managing, coaching, and mentoring employees, manage professional development, hiring, and issue resolution for the program.
  • Engaging with employees and customers on a routine basis to fully understand customer requirements and employee capabilities
  • Preparing and providing various reports and technical reviews to senior management as requested.
  • Providing technical architecture and write-up for developing winning proposals for various HID bids to government customers.

What we will love about your background:

  • Experience with IT systems integrator that can work with multiple internal and external stakeholders to implement IT systems.
  • Experience organizing, directing, and managing contract operation support functions
  • Experience in managing Agile Software development team comprising of hybrid technologies like Java, NET,
  • Mobile and relational databases
  • Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle
  • Experience collaborating and coordinating across project teams and components facilitating information sharing, reuse, and productivity improvements.
  • Ability to collaborate with technical staff and customers in forming strategies to improve performance, reliability, and security
  • Experience in digital transformation initiatives of the organization and in creating IT roadmaps and execution strategies
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Experience in effectively communicating with senior level executives within a customer organization
  • Experience mentoring staff to maintain high levels of performance and positive morale
    Broad and high-level technical skills including Enterprise strategy, design, transition, operations, Cloud services, continuous improvement,
  • Ability to manage and lead a large team, including driving high performance and ensuring highly motivated and cohesive teams
  • Experience writing technical proposals for various government bids.

Your Experience and Education include:    

  • 10 years of experience managing complex IT programs, supervising, and leading teams and projects.
  • 10+ years of IT experience
  • PMI or Prince2 Project/Program certifications
  • Master’s or bachelor’s degree or equivalent with experience in a technical or managerial discipline,
