Position Summary:

As an ABEC Electrical Assembler, you will apply electrical theory and related knowledge to testing, building and modifying various types of electrical equipment and components by reading and interpreting drawings.

Responsibilities:

Ø  Provide guidance/direction to other electrical assemblers.

Ø  Provide leadership in achieving company goals.

Ø  Conduct administrative functions as required.

Ø  Participate in Project Team meetings.

Ø  Work from plans, sketches, blueprints, work orders or other instructions; interpret electrical plans and specifications; check for compliance with codes.

Ø  Clean, test, troubleshoot and repair high voltage equipment, as necessary.

Ø  Receive components and confirm against drawing and/or list of materials or quality standards.

Ø  Solder and or fit/or assemble components.

Ø  Fabricate specialty parts.

Ø  Recommend improvements.

Ø  Follows all safety rules and policies.

Ø  Inspect fabrications for quality, safety and operation as requested.

Ø  Audit equipment against drawings as requested.

Ø  Prepare equipment for shipment.

Ø  Fabricate specialty parts.

Ø  Execute other tasks as assigned.

Ø  Ability to travel when required.

Qualifications:

Ø  Electrical Senior Trade Certificate (Level 6) or equivalent.

Ø  Highly skilled electrical and instrumentation disciplines with some knowledge of mechanical.

Ø  Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Ø  Experience in Electrical systems.

Ø  Typical work is in a manufacturing environment or customer’s site.
