The primary focus of this role is to deliver Induction training to our new Sales Reps in the Direct Sales division of the Business. The role requires a dynamic and engaging approach to delivering product knowledge and all modules that comprise the L&D strategy.

Learning & Development:

  • Design and implement engaging development initiatives for the Direct Sales Business
  • Conduct company and client specific induction programmes
  • Become an expert on the product knowledge/processes being delivered by spending time shadowing on assigned accounts so that learner queries can be correctly and confidently answered
  • Act as a mentor/support for new hires during their Induction period
  • Support Account Managers with the creation and delivery of ad-hoc training as required
  • Where process/product gaps identified, proactively seek to identify solutions and present to Account managers for sign off and onwards delivery
  • Seek opportunities to improve the learning experience through research and make suggestions accordingly
  • Adapt to best practices and new trends & developments in the L&D space
  • Plan, draft and manage key L&D communications
  • Coordination of all L&D activity across own area of business
  • Liaise with senior management to ensure training needs assessments are carried out
  • Influence and drive continuous improvement through creating and developing good working relationships with managers and employees

General:

  • Deliver weekly and monthly reports on department activity
  • Support the general administration and projects within the department as required

 

Qualifications:

  •  Train the Trainer certified
  •   One year minimum experience of working in a training role or in a comparable leadership role where content creation, presentation and delivery represented a significant element of the role
  • High competence in Microsoft Office, particularly Powerpoint

Desirable:

  • Direct Sales experience – first-hand experience of direct selling will be advantageous
  • Demonstrated Business/Training/Process documentation expertise

 

Communication Skills:

  •  Ability to appropriately communicate with people across all levels within an organisation
  •   Ability to verbally express oneself clearly
  • Ability to communicate and present material confidently to large groups
  • Exemplary written skills, evidenced by excellent spelling, grammar and presentation

 Role KPIs and Measures of Success:

  •  100% new hires signed off as successfully passing induction exams
  • Administer the L&D record systems to achieve an audit success rate of 100%
  • Support activity to ensure that performance management procedures are applied to an auditable level of 100% companywide
  • Ensure 100% completion of Induction & Health & Safety training
  • Complete annual review of the suitability of the L&D program and advise the relevant stakeholders accordingly
