Job Description
We are looking for a detail orientated Social Media Coordinator to support the Social Media team with weekly tasks, campaign activity and overall administration. You will ensure that all deadlines are met and that 100% accuracy is maintained across all administration tasks.
Your Tasks
- Help to create, plan and co-ordinate social media content alongside the Social Media Manager and Social Media agency, in line with the overall strategy
- Create content calendars in collaboration with internal departments such as Buying, HR and Marketing
- Monitor and engage with social conversation around the Lidl brand, providing timely and accurate feedback to customer queries while working closely alongside the dedicated Customer Services team
- Assisting the development of Lidl’s social media strategy and continuing to expand our social media activities.
- Overseeing Social Media team’s administration tasks (e.g. costs, reporting, monitoring, competitor research) for the team
- Support the crisis communication team when applicable
- Weekly reporting and evaluation of Social Media and distribution of this to various departments in the company
- Continuously improve social channels by capturing and analysing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then implementing changes
- Assist with production of native content appearing across Lidl and third party channels
- Assist in meetings, briefs and brainstorming sessions
- Managing ad hoc projects as required
Your Profile
- Previous experience in an administration role essential
- Previous experience in a social media role desirable but not essential
- Ensure work is carried out and completed in a controlled, compliant, timely and accurate manner with emphasis on attention to detail
- Ability to meet deadlines while working under pressure and multitasking in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work on own initiative as well as in a team
- Exceptional organisational, analytical and data management skills
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficient in MS office (in particular Excel)
