About this Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, Motor Claims Team Manager to join our team in Dublin. The successful candidate will have:

  • Ideally 5 Years experience handling with Motor Claims, minimum 3 years in a Team Manager Role
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Client relationship management & service delivery experience (desirable)
  • Knowledge of insurance regulation/compliance requirements

Specific Responsibilities (including but not limited to)

  • Receive, manage and process Motor Claims in accordance with:
    • CPC/FSA Guidelines
    • Client Policy Wordings / Technical Requirements
    • SLAs
  • Coach, develop and support your team leaders & colleagues ensuring regular formal and informal 1:1s and compliance with Sedgwick’s policies
  • Provide strong and visible leadership to the team through clear and engaging communication
  • Performance management including completion of regular 1:1 & quarterly reviews for direct reports
  • Collaborate with Manager to set and monitor Team and Individual targets
  • Manage team workflow to achieve compliance with SLAs:
  • Client engagement : Weekly & monthly meetings, requests relating to Claims, audits, training and ad-hoc requests
  • Any other tasks as may be required

Qualifications

APA or CIP qualified is essential

Experience

Ideally 5 Years handling Motor Claims, minimum 3 years in a Team Manager Role

  • Client relationship management & service delivery experience (desirable)
  • Knowledge of insurance regulation/compliance requirements
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word / Excel / PowerPoint
  • Strong knowledge of complaints processes and timelines
  • Ability to multi-task in a busy environment and deal with customer queries

Personal Qualities/Attributes

  • Must demonstrate the ability to manage and mentor effectively
  • Excellent communication and collaborative skills and the ability to deal with both internal and external communications
  • Experience in Motor Claims is essential
  • Excellent admin skills and attention to detail
