Key roles

  • Supporting delivery of all stages of the Learning and Development system for training, upskilling trainers, and coordinating training activities
  • Ensure colleagues are effectively trained to carry out their relevant roles within the business

Specific responsibilities

  • Ensuring that the Learning and Development (L&D) system is used effectively to train on all process tasks
  • Supporting the upskill of trainers in trainer methodology (using standard Train the Trainer approaches) and ensuring they are competent to deliver training according to guidelines and criteria
  • Overseeing the production of a comprehensive suite of training materials and support documentation
  • Create a centralised point of reference for the management of all Training Collateral
  • Development and execution of the Training Plan including timetabling and coordinating training on new processes ensuring training is delivered on schedule
  • Facilitating and guiding colleagues (especially task trainers) through the L&D system using mentoring and coaching approaches

 

Qualifications/skills

  • Business related degree or equivalent professional qualification
  • Knowledge of effective, evidence-based training methodologies / approaches
  • Knowledge of learning styles
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience in continuous business improvement and change management
  • Train the trainer theory and ability to deliver
  • Experience in delivering training to colleagues across various functions

 

Experience

  • 3-4+ years’ experience in Learning and Development
  • Previous L&D experience within the financial services industry (ideally)
