We have an exciting role for a Junior QA Tester to join a Not-For-Profit in doing fantastic work throughout Ireland.

This is a brand new role on the team and will be working with really interesting technology across web and mobile applications and sites.

If you have a passion for technology and want the opportunity to take the lead in the creation of testing methodology based on client’s requirements this is the role for you.

Specifications.

The Role:

  • UAT testing of software applications.
  • Creation of test scripts & test cases to support software testing activities.
  • Prioritize issues based on factors such as severity, quantity, user impact, and difficulty.
  • Collection and analyses of data for software process evaluation.
  • Monitor bug resolution efforts and escalate. Identified risks as and when they occur.
  • Creating, writing and implementing QA sub tasks.
  • Create and implement test scenarios from requirements docs and authored test cases
  • Perform functional testing for the user stories and report bugs with explanatory notes and steps to recreate.
  • Participate in planning sessions.
  • Assist development and product teams.
  • Research new features and technologies

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Third Level Diploma or higher in Business or Technology related field
  • Experience in Functional testing Manual testing would be a big advantage
  • Strong communications skills and attention to detail
  • The ability to hit the ground running with tasks and projects
  • Strong analytical mindset when approaching problems
