Job Description

Amazon is seeking dedicated, hardworking, analytical candidates with a proven track record of performance and results-oriented approach, to join the CTPS Team in Cork. Candidates will be responsible for a wide range of duties related to investigation and elimination of online eCommerce risk. All candidates will be analytical and capable of succeeding in a fast-paced team environment as Productivity and Quality will be evaluated along with the overall contribution to the development of the department.
The position relies on excellent judgment to plan and accomplish goals and will work under limited supervision of the Manager. Excellent individual problem-solving and analytical skills are used to authenticate customers and complex transactions. He/she will be required to engage in frequent written and verbal communication in Spanish and English. They may also be required to contact customers by phone.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Communicate effectively via email and/or telephone with our customer base – sellers/buyers, merchants and internal customers.
  • Take appropriate action to identify and help minimize the risk posed by fraud patterns and trends.
  • Consistently achieve/exceed weekly productivity and quality standards.
  • Participate in ad-hoc projects/assignments as necessary.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR:

  • Investigators to evaluate buyer or seller transactions/profiles
  • Applicants with fluent in French and English languages.
  • These positions are ideal for recent graduates or people with customer service backgrounds.
  • Flexibility with working hours and to work on weekends as part of your normal 5 day shift.

. Flexible to Work overtime based on Business requirements.

  • Knowledge of additional language would be an advantage.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex issues correctly and clearly to both internal and external customers.
  • Self-disciplined, diligent, proactive and detail oriented.
  • Independent decision making based on data analysis.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Previous work experience in a customer service / retail environment.
  • Knowledge of or experience in a fraud/risk management environment.
  • Experience in finance, data analysis, research, translation or training is a distinct advantage
