If you are a Director of Nursing/ Assistant Director of Nursing looking to step up, to work with an established team, with great support from our central Quality and Innovation, HR and Finance Departments please get in contact.

Role Responsibilities:

Lead the delivery of resident care.
Enhance the person-centered approach.
Lead and manage an enthusiastic team to work to their potential.
Work with the Director of Quality and Innovation and Director of Nursing colleagues to develop policies, programmes and evidence-based practice.
Conduct internal audits
Initial induction of staff and ongoing training and development of staff
Encouragement of innovative practice
Ensuring implementation and adherence to Company and HIQA standards.

Candidate Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years’ experience of Nursing Management in Care of the elderly within the last 6 years.
Post-registration management qualification (QQI Level 6 minimum)
Currently registered with NMBI
Proven track record of clinical, leadership and people skills
Thorough knowledge of HIQA standards, regulations and the ‘HEALTH ACT 2007’
Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills
Proven track record in decision-making ability
Qualification in Gerontology is desirable
