Working for Glenveagh Properties is exciting, challenging and incredibly rewarding. We’re using advanced technology and cutting-edge construction methods to create quality homes in communities across Ireland. We are currently recruiting an experienced Block Foreman to coordinate trades to ensure completion of their allocated tasks on a prestigious new project in central Dublin. This project will be a high- profile mix of apartments and commercial units and we’re seeking applications from experienced construction professionals with previous experience on projects of a similar scale.

The Role

  • Coordinate the Trade Contractors working within their building
  • Snag the completed work
  • Coordinate the resources required in conjunction with the site program to ensure that deadlines are met and related works are carried out in the correct sequence
  • Manage and coordinate both site staff and sub-contractors
  • Manage ‘Permits to Work’
  • Liaise and communicate closely with the design team, Project Manager and other stakeholders
  • Coordinate the daily of site labour and ordering of materials

 

Requirements

  • Degree/ Higher Diploma/ HETAC qualification (or relevant block management experience)
  • Significant site management experience on residential/commercial projects
  • Knowledge of latest building regulation and certification standards
  • A strong sense of ownership and responsibility for tasks/projects
  • The ability to lead, use initiatives and be self-motivated
